Let me re-edit this question:

I find the archive part of the software works very, very well.

What I am trying to do is Time Lapse.

I have my cameras taking snapshots every 5 secs, and storing them to the archive.

I have found other open source software out there that can convert the JPG's to AVI, but have problems with the subfolders.

I could use the file naming to the JPG's, and save them to only one folder, which then would allow me to use software such as Photo Lapse, to get the AVI.

What would be nice, would be for an added archive feature:

Record/Stop buttons, that when you have the archive in play, would save that as a AVI file.

To save all JPG files into one folder you can use File Destination instead of Archive. As File destinatin you can specify folder/file mask like (see the tip at the File destination dialog for details):
c:\mydir\camera1\{y-m-d}_{h-i-s}_{n}.jpg

Or, if you wish to store one day per folder:
c:\mydir\camera1\{y-m-d}\{h-i-s}_{n}.jpg
